After over a decade’s experience in architecture and construction, Patrick established the practice in 2015. Driven to high standards of technical precision and transparent processes, he has led OPA to successfully deliver projects across sectors including commercial, industrial, health, education and residential.
With rigorous dedication to each unique design problem and collaborative client engagement, Patrick crafts innovative and appropriate solutions that work best for client needs and the site environment.

Nicholas Eccles

Registered Architect
Nicholas is a Registered Architect with experience spanning conceptual design through to construction documentation. Across his projects, Nicholas demonstrates an intelligent and outcome-focused approach to deliverables and adept coordination of project consultants.
Nicholas balances high level thinking with acute design sensibility to deliver ingenuity at all stages of the project.
His architectural analysis and conceptual methodology are informed by academic experience in Japan. Nicholas’s previous qualifications and experience as a graphic designer bring rigour to the composition and layout elements of his project designs.

Emad Elessawy
Senior Design Manager
Emad is a Senior Design Manager with comprehensive architectural experience in concept, preliminary, detail design and construction documentation. He has excellent history of delivering several quality design and construction packages for mega projects in Australia and overseas.
Emad brings extensive project and design management skills, thanks to his highly respected and recognised efforts working for signature practices in Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Emad has worked on projects as diverse as bus and metro stations, residential and mixed-use towers, landscape and urban planning in both Australia and overseas, including working in a client role at the Department of Transport in the UAE, where he was able to sharpen his design review and project management abilities.
